Welcome to Steven’s Guesthouse. By making a booking, staying on our premises, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms ensure the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of all guests.
1. Booking & Reservation Policy
- A booking is only confirmed once payment is received or a deposit is secured as per your rate plan.
- Guests must provide accurate personal information when booking.
- Rates are subject to change without notice unless already secured by payment.
- Special rates (Saver/Promo/Non-Refundable) follow their own terms and cannot be altered.
2. Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-In: From 14h00 to 22:00
- Check-Out: 10h00 (Morning time)
- Late Check-Out: N$100 per hour (subject to availability)
Early check-in may be granted upon request if the room is available.
3. Identification Requirements
Guests must present a valid ID, passport, or driver’s license during check-in.
No check-in will be allowed without proper identification.
4. Payment Terms
We accept:
- Online payments via DPO Pay By Network
- Cash payment at the premises
Full payment is required before or on arrival unless otherwise arranged.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our cancellation rules apply as follows:
- 30 days before arrival: 100% refund
- 21 days before arrival: 75% refund
- 14 days before arrival: 50% refund
- 7 days before arrival: 25% refund
- Less than 7 days: No refund
- No-show: Non-refundable
- Early departure: No refund
- Saver/Non-Refundable Rates: No changes, no refunds
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days.
6. Occupancy Rules
- Only registered guests are allowed in the rooms.
- Additional visitors must be reported to reception.
- Extra charges may apply for additional persons.
Each room has a maximum occupancy limit for comfort and safety.
7. Guest Responsibility
Guests are responsible for:
- Their personal belongings
- Damages caused to property, furniture, or appliances
- Maintaining a respectful noise level at all times
Lost keys or damaged items will be charged accordingly.
8. Smoking & Alcohol Policy
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms.
- Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
- A cleaning fee will be charged if guests smoke indoors.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted, but disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
9. Safety & Security
- Children must be supervised at all times, especially near the pool area.
- The guesthouse is not responsible for the loss of valuables left in rooms.
- Please ensure doors and vehicles are locked for your own safety.
10. Use of Facilities
Guests may use amenities such as:
- Swimming pool
- Braai/BBQ area
- Outdoor relaxation spaces
Facilities must be used responsibly and left clean.
Management may restrict facility use for maintenance or safety reasons.
11. Housekeeping
Rooms are cleaned daily unless otherwise requested.
Guests should notify reception for extra towels, bedding, or special housekeeping needs.
12. Pets
No pets are allowed unless approved prior to arrival.
13. Liability Disclaimer
Steven’s Guesthouse cannot be held liable for:
- Accidents, injuries, or illnesses occurring during your stay
- Loss or damage of personal items
- Events beyond our control (power outages, water interruptions, etc.)
14. Right of Admission Reserved
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service
- Cancel bookings
- Remove guests who violate policies or behave inappropriately
This is to maintain a peaceful and safe environment for all guests.
15. Agreement
By booking and staying at Steven’s Guesthouse, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
